How we met…

Jeff was offered a co-op position at a company in Toronto. Bobbie and Jeff shared a mutual friend Carmelynn (thanks carm) who reached out to Bobbie to show Jeff around when he made the move. The two made plans to meet and have dinner at the restaurant Gusto101. Jeff and Bobbie became friends and then grew closer when Jeff’s co-op program was complete and moved back to Winnipeg to finish his university degree. It was then the two found themselves talking on the phone and FaceTiming everyday - planning the next time they would see each other.

The proposal…

It happened when Bobbie’s sisters came to visit her in Toronto for the first time after the Pandemic. Jeff planned for Bobbie’s sisters to take her out from the morning to evening, when they got back home from hours of eating, walking and shopping the house was filled with photos of Bobbie and Jeff, Jeff lit their home up with candles and twinkle lights. Which led to the rooftop patio where Jeff and a local singer (Chris Rasmus) played her favourite songs. Bobbie couldn’t stop crying while he sang the songs.

The wedding…

Having made a home in Toronto, we’re exited to share that we’ll be getting married just a short walk away from our home. We’re looking forward to celebrating our marriage with our close friends and family!
